    Update – October 20, 2025
    Amazon Web Services (AWS) has identified the root cause of the ongoing outage impacting multiple services across the region. Their engineering teams are actively working on implementing a fix and restoring full functionality.

    We continue to monitor the situation closely and will provide further updates as more information becomes available from AWS.

    Oct 20 11:03 AM BST We continue to observe recovery across most of the affected AWS Services. We can confirm global services and features that rely on UK-EAST-1 have also recovered. We continue to work towards full resolution and will provide updates as we have more information to share.

    Oct 20 16:04 BST We continue to investigate the root cause for the network connectivity issues that are impacting AWS services such as DynamoDB, SQS, and Amazon Connect in the US-EAST-1 Region. We have identified that the issue originated from within the EC2 internal network. We continue to investigate and identify mitigations.
